FOOD PRODUCTION

So far the food production was based on the internal needs but we are expanding it with
new activities, with our own goods and we are joining modern market flows.

At the moment, the activities of the food production are:
· Egg-laying farm
· Drying and packing fruits, vegetables and medical herbs

The development programme as planned: the raspberry production at 100 hectares,
plum production of 100 wagons, peers and apples but also hazelnuts and nuts.

Egg-laying farm

Produces a million eggs a year and has a possibility of expansion.

Drying and packing fruits, vegetables and medical herbs

Drying hall capacity is four tones per 24 hours, measured by plum handling. It enables drying of fruits, vegetables and medical herbs in highest standards as from its own plantation, as well as from its co-operators’ plantations. Enabling and opening of this machinery is seen as a big stimulation for improving of our co-operators’ own production.
